Warm and persevering leadership. My name is Kendall Stout, and I am a 2nd year student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington. I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Data Analytics with a minor in contemporary dance and aspirations of achieving my master's degree in accounting. I am also involved in the performing arts on campus and consistently engage in recreational athletics. ​My experiences as dance instructor and fish monger throughout high school aided me in developing skills around perseverance, time management and how to lead in an empowering manner. After moving continuously for most of my childhood, I wanted to return home to a place that could further connect me with my family while pushing my horizons to reach new opportunities at a nationally ranked business school. I am passionate around empowerment and teamwork which I aspire to further explore in my professional career to improve myself for the benefit of all future partnerships. ​I am strongly grounded by my moral compass, ethical principles, and fostering of a warm, encouraging environment. I thrive in situations where I can aid others to achieve their goals in their own unique ways. My personal values, skills, and interests around perseverance, warmth, empowerment, excellence, data analysis, and taking initiative can complement organizations who are looking for individuals that align to a shared vision. My short-term goals are to gain differing and unique experiences while at Indiana University and to work towards an internship to expand my experience in the professional workplace. My long-term goals are to add to organizations who embrace their employees' skills, while harboring their local community's best interests, so that the work completed by the company can benefit the internal and local communities they support.
