Kendall Tieck recently retired (1-2020) as a Vice President at Workday, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources. Founded in 2005, Workday delivers financial management, human capital management, and analytics applications designed for the world's largest companies, educational institutions, and government agencies. He joined Workday in 2013 to create, establish and evolve the internal audit function. Kendall’s career has spanned technology and financial services industries including engagements with Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Microsoft and eBay. He has held senior positions in technology, risk management, and internal audit. Prior to joining Workday, Kendall was the Head of IT Audit at eBay. During his tenure at Microsoft he was an Audit Director with responsibility for the providing audit services to the core lines of business.In addition to Kendall’s extensive experience in corporate internal audit, he has contributed significantly to Enterprise Risk Management, investigations, professional practices, policy governance and data analytic programs. He is a member of the Information Security Audit & Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Kendall is a graduate of Whitman College.
