Work led to joining new Center for Shared Services to provide fiscal analysis and support on complex business arrangements across multiple academic departments within the Univ of Washington Health Sciences Administration. Bike/bus commuting 16 miles to current position.Earlier, UW-Bothell campus had entirely different reimbursement programs at each of its seven departments. Researched and identified administrator, faculty, staff, student and visitor expense reimbursement needs and determined where the common procedural and knowledge gaps occurred. Worked with all department administrators and central funding agencies to compile best practices into two standardized, single-page, fillable PDF documents (with educational links). All stakeholders reported a dramatic improvement in the speed and accuracy of the multi-million dollar reimbursement program without requiring additional user training. Post-launch quality assurance showed the new program's procedures and resources complied with strict regulatory requirements across all four funding agencies (Non-profit, University, State, Federal).
