Freelance writer. Not typical. Non-traditional.What do I mean by non-traditional? Well, for starters, I spent seven years on nearly two degrees studying physiology and medicine. While homebrewing in Hawaii back in 2010, I was infected by the craft beer bug. As a beer-obsessed zombie, brewing knowledge was my only sustenance. Before I knew it, I had moved to the Old Blighty and became part of the new wave of British brewers. Making great beer is only one of my passions. During lockdown, I re-kindled a past love, writing. When I was just a little boy, I submitted “The Eagle” to a poetry contest. I won, but that’s not the point (took second place in the spelling bee too, also not the point). Planting words onto the page simply felt natural. It made me feel… like myself!Turns out that writing is in my blood. My late grandmother was a published author and writing educator. I could ignore the urge to slap my thoughts onto digital paper no longer. For the past three years, I have ghostwritten articles for tech, marketing, B2B, SaaS and other industries. My writing has ranged from landing pages to how-tos, to listicles and everything in between. It’s not always tech and big business. I occasionally write for small and independent businesses such as coffee roasters or personal trainers.Oh yeah, I also like to write about beer at places Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing Brewery Blog. As a pro brewer, I truly understand the blood, sweat, and tears that go into every drop the consumer drinks.Who I’m looking for:-Clients that want original, well-researched articles and thought-leadership editorials-B2B companies that want high-quality SEO and marketing content that aligns with their ethos, buyer personas, and brand tone of voice-Brewers and other drinks who want to inject new life into their brand voice-Independent businesses that want dynamic web copy and blog posts
