With a passion to create luminous environments that both support and inspire those who work within and interact with his projects, Ken’s work has received numerous awards from The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North American (IESNA). He has spoken at NeoCon and the IALD Annual Education Conference, and has written articles for publication in industry magazines.Among the wide variety of project types he designs, Ken is particularly well known for his work designing aesthetic lighting systems for signature bridges throughout North America, work for which he is recognized as an industry leaders.Ken is an active member of the International Association of Lighting Designers where he served as the Treasurer on its Board of Directors, following two terms as a Director-at-Large. For four years, Ken was Chairman of the organization’s signature awards program and was presented with their Volunteer Service Award for his efforts. He was honored with induction to the Association’s College of Fellow in 2016, an honor held by less than forty individuals worldwide.
