About Kendra Albers

Kendra has spent her entire career in the non-profit sector fundraising for incredible organizations such as Special Olympics, American Cancer Society, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Kendra joined The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter in 2015 as the Walk to Defeat ALS Program Manager before transitioning to the Director of Development in 2019. Kendra’s events have been featured in Special Events Galore, Forbes Magazine, and across various peer fundraising and print publications. The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter team recently was awarded “Program of the Year” by the Peer 2 Peer Professional Forum for their quick-thinking and creation of the Mini-Walk platform.
