Kendra Allen, Educated Nurse, MMBA, CCS - Starting out in 1991 I have worked in all genres of healthcare from medical care to skilled nursing and rehab, to acute care hospitals, to psychiatric acute care to Behavioral Health and Addiction RTC, Detox, PHP, IOP, and Outpatient. I have specialized in behavioral health since 2008 as a direct care provider, administrator, and consultant. I am an expert in Utilization Review, Appeals, Addiction and Behavioral Health Care Models, Payor reimbursement, and Payor requirements as well as Payor contracting and credentialing. I have seen drastic changes in care models, reimbursement models, and reimbursement itself. In 2018 I founded and lead a group of 32 staff members known as The Insurance Fight Club. As a team, we work as RELENTLESS ADVOCATES for reimbursement of care utilizing both the providers as well as the patients' allowed pathways. We assist facilities in maximizing patient reimbursement. The goal is to get every patient the care they need with the least financial barrier possible.I am very passionate about what I do. I truly believe that the expertise that I have developed over my career allows me to help those seeking mental health and addiction treatment obtain more insurance authorization resulting in more time with their chosen clinicians receiving the help and outcomes they desperately need.
