Kendra Barker, I moved from Philadelphia where I studied for a Bachelors in Health Studies while performing as a D1 Athlete. I have a huge passion for health and fitness so I ventured to the sunnier side of the country to be immersed in the progressive culture. I started off in sales where I found my passion for people and relationship building however I wanted to be more involved in the business sense, so I moved into Operations in the finance industry. This is where I was able to experience all fields of the business. Continuing my desire for growth, I delved into project management for a FinTech company, built by BBVA. Being able to grow my emotional intelligence, work closely with key stake holders, be considered “black ops” and touch all areas of the business is where I thrive. I plan to continue this path where I plan to gain more knowledge in Business Ops, become a leader in the field, and maintain my “can do” positive attitude. Oh, and on the side I continue to stay up to speed in the health and fitness industry by continually working on my side project, Essence Nutrition.
