• Examine title (chains, full section, patent to present) using public records including but not limited to courthouse instruments to ascertain mineral and/or surface ownership for leasing, prepare title run sheets and ownership reports. • Experience with stand up title as well as working from images. • Direct contact with lessors to cure title.• Contact with lenders to subordinate mortgages to oil and gas leases.• Preparation of oil and gas leases and accompanying documents surrounding leasing activities, recording oil and gas documents in the counties, leasing database management and records conversion (prep and scan).
