After almost 10 years in the legal field, I transitioned into accounting and reporting. I have worked in the accounting department for 5 years. Within that time, I received two promotions and multiple achievement awards. I also completed my BBA and Master’s degree in Accounting while working full-time. The past 3 years I have work as an internal auditor. I work with different areas of the company from Board level to firstline workers. As a trusted advisor I can offer a second set of eye and offer any insight. In my different roles I have analyzed procedures, offered ideas for improvements and efficiencies. I participated as a subject matter expert in the implementation of a new billing system. Created reports to replace manual processes to be used in different departments. I enjoy working as part of a team. It allows me to learn from different people and also share my knowledge with others. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family by cooking, watching movies and creating some art. I also like to volunteer at food banks, tax centers, decorate lunch bags for kids and help with fundraising activities.
