Kendra Durkee is a Financial Analyst II at Washington County, Minnesota. Colleagues describe her as "Kendra has participated in Superior Diesel's Internship program for the last two years - and it has been amazing to see everything she can accomplish! From completing data entry with impeccable accuracy and efficiency to leading a team of individuals to cross the finish line on a few summer-long projects (and everything in between), Kendra has been a great asset to both the accounting team and the internship group as a whole. This summer in particular, Kendra was able to juggle her assigned accounting responsibilities, while also holding an "Intern Manager" role helping to oversee four of our younger interns. This included meeting virtually with two of our other returning interns to organize weekly meetings and activities, monitoring individual and group intern projects, and performing individual check-in meetings with her assigned mentees. I was amazed to see how Kendra handled her leadership role this summer and I am glad to have had the opportunity to challenge her and see what she's capable of. Kendra has shown me time and time again that she is a "doer" and will stop at nothing to make sure she accomplishes what she has been assigned to do.
