I combine my passions for the outdoors and education to work towards a career in science communication. Coming from Oregon, I have always valued preservation of nature and biodiversity. In my free time, I love to explore new hiking trails. I've used my passion as inspiration to design opportunities for people to connect with natural sciences. As a currently PhD student, I work with local non-profits to provide students in under-served school districts to exciting opportunities to explore ecology and earth sciences.
