I worked with the 60+ student leaders across campus and the 10 student executives elected by the student body. My students and I facilitated campus wide, government satisfactions surveys, school fundraising events, heritage celebrations and student dances. I worked with other staff and provided tools to foster positive student leadership in the dorms and classrooms.

I worked with students, ages 16 to 24, teaching career readiness skills. Skills that include goal planning, resume writing, computer skills, interviewing skills and basic reading and math skills. I also taught conflict resolution courses and CPR/First Aid training courses.

As a Rec specialist I provided recreational activities for all students, as well as coached the NTJC softball team. I also worked as the Leisure Time Employment Coordinate, helping students find part-time jobs in the local business community and providing them with resume building and interview skills.
