As Executive Director at Humble Warrior Collective, we grew the organization from serving over 100 individuals a month to over 300 individuals a month. While serving, I facilitated the expansion of programming through a partnership with the Hardesty Family Foundation, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, and Grand Recovery in Tulsa. We're continuing to grow our programming and increase awareness through community engagement. As Research Coordinator for Humble Warrior Collective, I successfully coordinated with Hope Research Center at OU-Tulsa to develop and deploy survey instruments showing HWC programs' success in reducing stress and increasing hope. Hope Theory posits that hope is a number one buffer against trauma and stress, contributing to resiliency. Trauma-informed facilitator since 2015. Teaching yoga, mindfulness, and a fusion of evidence-based movement practices since 2015.Fusing several styles of movement practices by blending classes with elements of breathing, somatics, functional movement and tai chi with various styles of yoga including ashtanga, hatha, vinyasa, kundalini, gentle, restorative, and yin.
