-Provided research and analysis on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and recommended changes to the state regulations to alleviate current issues facing housing developers utilizing this program.-Co-wrote and published a magazine article on the continued recovery efforts of Texas residents affected by Hurricane Harvey and on how incoming CDBG-DR funds could help with new or rehab housing developments.

-Organized and moderated a leadership panel consisting of Austin community leaders of color to share their personal stories and advice on leadership and community engagement with UT Austin and Huston-Tillotson students.

-Analyzed proposed legislation and attended legislative committee hearings to monitor changes to high priority bills that could potentially impact Austin Water.-Engaged with City of Austin Intergovernmental Relations Officers, local and state environmental organizations, and other interested parties to address concerns and stay informed about proposed legislation.-Produced legislative bill reports and presentations for industry conferences, city advisory meetings, and Austin Water executives.

-Conducted in-person discussions with Housing Authority residents using Human Centered Design methodology to understand their daily transit limitations.-Provided recommendations on best allocation of Car2Go’s fleet to alleviate residents’ mobility constraints. Project was spotlighted at SXSW 2017.

-Served as a process engineer in project design/delivery for a number of large capital projects ($100+million to $10+ billion) for various oil and gas clients.-Partnered with client representatives onsite and in-office to work through scheduling projections, design reviews, and scope changes, while maintaining a multi-team cohesiveness that minimized conflicts and aligned project delivery timeframes during various project phases.-Led a team of six process engineers in design projects. Contributed engineering knowledge on retrofit design of existing system allowing for conversion of feedstock into finalized product sold to third-party customers; ensured compliance with all company, government, and industry standards.-Prepared technical reports to communicate results and ensure compliance with project objectives and client specifications.-Provided leadership and process engineering perspective in review sessions and impromptu meetings with clients and internal team members.
