With 4 years of experience working directly with Medicaid Disability Waiver and 3 of those years as a supervisor, case manager, and Positive Behavior Support Specialist with HR responsibilities, I have ignited a passion for people. I aim to create an inclusive and supportive work environment through honesty, clarifying questions, teamwork, and genuine connection. Whether through case management, advocacy, public speaking, training & development, or community outreach, I strive to make a positive impact to the community. As a 2021 graduate of the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, I discovered a love for social action and advocacy. During my time at UAFS, I was deeply involved in student organizations, leading several of those groups through the COVID-19 pandemic.From 2023-2024 I was a research fellow and advocacy trainee at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program. I completed 300 hours of study, research, clinical, and leadership service of individuals with disabilities and their families. My research, “Knowledge of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Presented to College-Age Women” was fruitful and was presented at the UAMS LEND symposium on April 26, 2024.
