A PG County school based reforestation program that provides free native trees and shrubs to schools. The program is designed to increase the overall tree canopy in the county, as well as engage students and volunteers in campus improvements to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of trees. Related task include but are not limited to: site visits and surveys, GIS mapping, student engagement, developing landscape plans, ordering plant material and scheduling deliveries, conducting tree planting demonstrations and working with school administrations and green teams to coordinate projects. - Provide cross program support for place-based capacity building initiatives through the development of mapping and outreach material.
