Growing up I was always passionate and intrigued by the environment. I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbra where I majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Professional Writing for Business Communication. I chose this combination of studies because while I find environmental field and laboratory science fascinating, my strengths lie elsewhere. I am a people person first and foremost; I love to communicate and connect. With a scientific background and a passion for communication and writing, I am in a unique position to bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public. I accomplish this in many different ways: project proposals, funding letters, status reports, professional memos, social media outreach and so much more. No matter the method, the goal is the same; I want environmental knowledge to be accessible to anyone who desires it.
