I’m a Speech Science student at the University of British Columbia, deeply passionate about communication, language development, and supporting individuals through speech and language therapy. My academic pursuits are complemented by a wide range of both work and volunteer experiences.Recently, I was elected as an executive member of the Speech and Language Student Association (SALSA). In this club I will be organizing the Language Science Undergraduate Research Conference (LSURC) which provides a platform for students and researchers to present their work in the field of language sciences. Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience as a customer service representative at Go Scoot, an e-scooter rental company, where collaboration and communication were essential. Moving forward, I’m excited to blend these skills and experiences into my future as a Speech-Language Pathologist, helping diverse individuals achieve their communication goals.
