As a nanny through care.com, I have been hired by a family that was needing assistance with childcare throughout the day while the parents were at work. I lead and help children with daily tasks, encouraging them to do things on their own, while still being there to help if/when needed. I teach the children appropriate behaviors, showing them how to respond to situations in the correct manner and teaching them how to correctly express their feelings. I also help with housekeeping tasks as needed, helping to take that extra task away from the parents.
