I have been a nurse for 15 years with the most recent experience including the role of APRN. My role has included responding, assessing and treating rapidly declining or critical patients. I have experience in a variety of areas as a critical care nurse including: Several ICU's including the Cardiothoracic Vascular, Coronary Care, Neurology, and Medical Surgical units, Orthopedic, Oncology, Neuro-telemetry, Interventional Care Telemetry, Emergency Department, Endoscopy, PACU and Catheterization Laboratory. This exposure has improved my basic knowledge and skills as a nurse. I have graduated with my Master's degree in nursing with my specialty in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. I have been employed at the same hospital throughout the duration of my nursing career and have been the educator, trainer, charge nurse, leader and have advanced my career through the career development program. I am certified in the following: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, STEMI, and ONC/Chemotherapy to list a few. I am a valuable, positive asset to any team I join, I am a leader and bring my varied experience and professionalism to the job.
