As irrigation tech it was my responsibility to maintain the sprinkler systems at the two City-run golf courses. I also aided in the mainenance of the course by mowing, trimming, watering, and aiding in the occasional snow removal.

Assisted Medicaid members in general education and understanding of benefits. Was the liaison of sorts between the members, the providers and the pharmacists. Learned the Medicaid website and navigation of the FL site inside and out in order to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information to the members. I was the one the supervisors went to when they couldn’t find the answer to a member or representative‘s question, in turn became the assistant call floor supervisor. While there, I had a large hand in the successful JD Powers and Associates monitoring time the company participated and received awards for. On occasion, I’d also assist in Quality Assurance for the Medicaid department as well as the PDP and PDFF (Medicare plans C and D) departments.I found great satisfaction and accomplishment in helping others: members and physician; as well as our reps. Although dealing with people's medical insurance benefits can be challenging, I thoroughly enjoyed aiding their understanding and utilization of said benefits.
