Topics covered include triage, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, common toxin ingestions, fluid and blood product therapies, and life-threatening conditions of each body system.

● Work from NYC Metropolitan Area and travel various regional and national Morgan horse shows to cover the results of the event and promote the Saddle Horse Report publication by passing out copies, talking about current events, and selling advertisements● Authored 40+ articles about trainers, breeding programs, industry events, and notable individuals after performing thorough research consisting of interviews with relevant parties and looking at historical data; choose appropriate photographs for use within feature● Performed strongly in 2016 to raise total number of advertisement pages by 4% from 2015; personal best sales week occurred in 2017 and included surpassing established metrics and selling 104% more pages than the previous year’s issue● Cultivate relationships with trainers, amateur competitors, and horse show officials at events and through follow-up communications● Provide value-added customer service through in-person communication at events, continual follow-up through emails or phone calls, and tailor advertisements to a customer’s precise preferences for layout, color schemes, text editing, and in-publication placement● Sell advertisements, create contracts, edit photographs, and write editorial coverage of the event on a fast-paced series of deadlines● Utilize social media, primarily Facebook, to advertise photos from events and promote the publication’s online presence

As a caretaker, I assisted in caring for roughly 40 Morgan show horses and the 20 lesson horses and broodmares. I cleaned stalls, watered, groomed, helped exercise, applied medication, and performed other chores as necessary. While at horse shows, I was on-duty 24/7 and for up to 10 days at a time. I also managed the Facebook page by updating our fans with show results, foaling reports, listings of horses for sale, and share various show and barn photos. Additionally, I coordinated with our website manager to ensure the website is as up-to-date as possible.
