At Chester’s Hamburgers, I have been trained to work register and communicate properly with customers. I have been able to effectively answer customer specific questions about menu items and order customizations. I answered phone calls and was able to work effectively with my coworkers to make sure customer satisfaction was top priority.

As a sales consultant, I was trained to operate the cash register and talk to customers. I have worked in two different locations for this company, the second of which has a higher volume of traffic than the first. I can handle monetary transactions during a fast paced and demanding situation. At both locations I was the only one in my job per shift so I did all of my duties alone. Once trained, I was able to do my job solo, only needing a manager for manager specific interactions. I greeted each customer with a smile and was able to provide excellent customer service despite the often very busy workday. I am also able to effectively upsell very well in a timely and polite manner. I am also skilled in pushing for customer memberships, effectively demonstrated as I had 700+ active car wash members under my name by the date of my departure.

I have been trained primarily in the cashier position. I can operate a standard cash register with little training and I can accurately count money/change. I have good customer service skills and have a friendly and engaging personality. I have a little training in stocking shelves/organization/presentation but my main skill set lies in running a register. I sold many store credit cards while there, effectively ensuring a returning customer and more future sales and rewards for customers.
