I am responsible for managing operations in a $35 million a year value stream. This includes managing employees, materials, processes, product quality and employee safety. From FY13 to FY15, our team improved our ROS from 13% to 20.2% through improving our quality, managing our overtime hours and improving our processes. We reduced our scrap rate by 45% and increased our on-time delivery to our customer. I am currently responsible for the development of 3 salary and 95 hourly associates.

- As a developmental role, I took over responsibility for the Engineering and Maintenance teams- Managed an engineering budget of $400k per month- Completed Requests for Capital Expenditures and put together business cases for new equipment- Ensured that our maintenance department was adequately staffed- Managed our budget through a down cycle, reducing our budget by 35%

I lead high performance teams to solve quality problems, did root cause analysis on quality defects, performed SPC, created PFMEA's and control plans, and reduced the scrap rate of my Value Stream by 30%.

My job consists of two major aspects -- 1) Dealing with day to day production needs, troubleshooting problems, allocating people to maintain production flow, and handling all the wonderful personel and behavior issues that arise. 2) Working on continuous improvement projects and lean implementation to improve our Value Stream.
