As a child, my eye for detail was sparked by the digital content I consumed as a kid. It varied from small craft projects like a treasure box, to intricate constructions of Victorian and Regency era buildings. I have been particularly fond of the latter, where every speck of a place was adorned. As I delved in deeper, I learnt more of their intricate crafts, from their influence on fashion to the delicate carpentry of their time. As I grew older, I expanded more on the different visual styles, however, still retaining my mindset on a maximalist designs, and even began my own craft projects. Soon, it was time for me to decide what path I would take. I chose the interest cultivated from my childhood. In Polytechnic, I was taught new ways to think of designing a space. I learnt how to use various softwares such as 3ds Max, Autocad, and Sketchup to better communicate my ideas. My work experience in an office job has taught me how to deal with clients of certain temperament. I believe the skills I accumulated would aid me in my current field of study.additionally, I've also decided to take up an elective on environmental sustainability.
