Responsible for TNC Community's fundraising and marketing initiatives. I work with the TNC's Executive Director and senior leadership to create fundraising strategies that increase the organization's support from individuals, corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other sources while maintaining current support from donors and fulfilling reporting requirements.I also work as an advocate for the removal of architectural, environmental, attitudinal, financial, employment, communication, transportation, community integration, technological, and other barriers for persons receiving services through TNC Community. The premier jazz publication in the Kansas City area for over 30 years, JAM Magazine is a bi-monthly publication sponsored by the Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors. The magazine includes compelling articles written by local, national and international contributors on a myriad of topics centered on the great art form of jazz. The cross-generational periodical also serves as a resource for lovers of music, culture, history, etc. JAM is hand-delivered to more than 300 locations including eight counties in the Kansas City area, has a distribution of 100,000 and a RPC of 7.8.
