It would be such a privilege for me to be able to contribute to your organization as a member of your staff. In August of 2010 I started my Art Education degree with a emphasis in pottery at Colorado State University and I am currently still on track to graduate by 2014. I also plan to graduate with a Spanish minor.I had the pleasure of attending a high school with an incredible art teacher that ignited my passion to have that same effect on my students as she had on me. I believe that every student is an artist; they just create and develop ideas differently. Also, the clay between your fingers and the aroma that it brings as people build through different processes can be extremely therapeutic and beneficial to their life.I have been extremely blessed to have been working with kids my entire life. The joy and enthusiasm that students bring can be so contagious. I would like to be the teacher, who brings something new to the classroom every day so that I can provide the best education and culture for my students. I am a highly motivated teacher, student and artist who would like to grow academically and socially in an atmosphere that is motivating and adaptive to my needs and also the needs of my students. Every student has the capability to achieve an enormity of desires in their hearts. I plan to encourage and show value to my students’ lives. I plan to work at that for the rest of my life; trying to find what I need to teach then going out and share my experiences with whoever wants to learn.I appreciate your consideration and look forward to speaking to you.Sincerely,Kendra KimballSpecialties: Classroom Management, Art, Pottery Emphasis, Photography Emphasis, Experience in Drawing, Painting and Fibers, Enthusiastic, Self-Motivating, Love of Art History and Culture to incorporate in lessons, Proficient in Microsoft Word, PhotoShop, Excellent customer service skills.
