• First point of contact and advisor for over 270 Students enrolled in the Stanford Online High School (OHS) and Middle School. Meet with students to understand their individual interests and goals to create a unique academic plan and schedule to help them meet their goals. Assist with any questions students and families have, and step in to work with struggling students and instructors as necessary. Coordinate any outside coursework for interested individual students, and assess outside coursework for Transfer Credit.• Create curriculum and co-teach a study skills class and orientation classes during the Fall Semester, and during the school’s summer program. Head our PE Program, tracking student activity, coordinating guest speakers, and engaging the student community around health and physical fitness.• Work with families and Administration to examine, build, and refine school policies, as well as communicate policies both to the wider community and on an individual basis to new students and families. Internally, active in reviewing processes and refining procedures to allow for efficient and effective management of student academic plans and resources. Served on Curriculum Committee and took part in setting school wide goals and expectations, and in examining progress toward Expected School-Wide Learning Results (ESLRs) and alignment with the OHS’s Mission Statement.• Active in interviewing/hiring new members of OHS staff, as well as creating and refining training materials.

• Organized the Online High School’s two-week residential summer program for 84 students. Handled arrival, course, residential and event logistics, as well as all family communications. • In the Admissions Office: Reviewed hundreds of annual applicants, managed and tracked all incoming application materials, maintained communication with applicants throughout the admission process, and trained new employees • In the Counseling Office: served as Academic Counselor for incoming students, assisting students with course choices and planning for college. Created, implemented, and managed an efficient system for processing student transcripts.
