This internship allowed me to work closely with engineering project managers and GIS technicians on NJ 500 Routes. I used GPI's truck driven, 360 degree satellite camera data to calculate features along main roadways. This information was used to update NJDOT Straight Line Diagrams (SLD).- Performed feature extraction on approximately 600 centerline miles of roadway using Orbit GT software and formatted files- Reviewed images and provided reports on quality and image imperfections- Checked images for spacing requirements- Used Microsoft Visual Basic to programmatically combine numerous CSV files- Converted tabular data to shapefiles using ArcPro- Collected data from Pulaski Skyway site visit

After starting as an assistant instructor, I quickly moved up to be a Head Swimming Instructor through my strong personal and leadership skills. I educated young children on the importance of water safety while getting them comfortable in the pool. I taught students from ages 2-15 years old, introducing swimming at the beginner level in small groups and individual private lessons. I also coached older children on the various swimming strokes and improved their technique to prepare them for a competitive swim team.
