Throughout my career I aim to build trusting relationships with my clients and to provide them with quality business advice. I am proactive in my career and am always on the lookout for opportunities to develop management and leadership skills. From the quaint country life in Portland I made the move to the big smoke and have proven myself as a resilient and determined individual. I brought with me a strong sense of community and adventure which infiltrates my professional life. Working in a competitive and fast paced environment, I am no stranger to challenges and meeting deadlines. I continue to adapt to my learning environment and improve my leadership skills by jumping on opportunities. Progressing through my CA was a challenging and rewarding experience which has developed my technical skills. I successfully completed my CA in May 2019.I am a strong advocate for progression and innovation. I believe that organisations work best when there is a wealth of different people willing to contribute and throw around ideas to create opportunities. More specifically, I seek to promote female participation, both inside and outside the workplace. I recently joined a women’s AFL team; the support and sense of community I have experienced in this environment is truly inspiring.
