My approach is similar in marketing as in coaching athletes: preview the potential, build trust in the process, then build toward the goal in a sustainable way, utilizing feedback to help stay on track. In the same day, I might tweak ad text to inspire more clicks on a button online or I might comb data to share with an improving elite racing cyclist to instill confidence toward a shoot-the-moon goal.
