Everybody that knows me, knows I have an affinity for sports, especially football! And although my days of playing college football for Ohio University are in my past, there are days that I feel like I am still in the game, in a different way. Sports and sales have a lot of parallels (interpersonal communication, goal setting, leadership) and was a natural transition for me. Within the first year of starting my tech sales career, I realized I was a natural in effectively communicating, developing relationships and prospecting and since my career has evolved exponentially. 2021 was a defining year for my career. Not only did I receive a promotion to Senior Sales Manager, I was recognized as the ‘Winner’s Circle’ recipient for exceeding my sales goals for 6 consecutive months. Although impressive, I’ve never thought of my career as selling. I simply connect with people and build long-term, successful relationships. I relate a lot of my athletic background back to my success in sales. I’m highly competitive against myself, passionate and driven. My superpower is ‘tenacity’ so when I set a goal, I pull out my best plays to win the game. In my free time, I enjoy working out and learning peculiar facts about wildlife.
