Job Duties Included: Operating operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and Assisted team and manage loading docks to ensure efficient operations. Our goals were to:Improve productivityLower/Control labor cost Limit warehouse to only allow warehouse personnel and or office management to reduce inventory claims, warehouse equipment, and ensure safety. Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing layout for better service. Assisted in pulling orders for company drivers and or load trucks for routes. Efficient in Fork lift operations. Assigned dock bays to incoming and outgoing trucks based on delivery departure times or for incoming drivers first come first serve service. Maintained communication with front office to provide optimal service regarding shipments. Opened warehouse at receiving start times promptly 7:00am meant having first truck inbound/outbound will be on dock being serviced at 7am.As needed assisted in local household pack jobs and or office moves. Safeguarded warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures. Responsible for inspecting shipments and or equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for any replacement of equipment to keep productivity running smoothly. Contribute time in warehouse to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Was available as on call/emergency person p/t for special shipments needing to be received or delivered out on weekends.

Relocated to Tampa October 1993 I assisted the management in its daily operation. Provided assistance when it came to scheduling the staff, performing inventory count of all the store’s supplies and analyze sales on a continual basis while taking corrective action in order for the company to meet the weekly sales growth target. Ensured that the store’s equipment as well as its facilities are properly maintained based on the company’s standards. Assisted in training new crew members to ensure that applicants are qualified to perform their delegated tasks.Opening/closing shifts responsible for opening/closing accounting and bank drops.
