As Assistant Director of MTIDA, I lead programs that drive economic development across Middle Tennessee. My responsibilities include advising on industrial site development initiatives, executing data collection and research efforts, and applying GIS technology for mapping and site analysis. I also contribute to creating marketing materials and coordinate visits from corporate investors and businesses evaluating Middle Tennessee as a location for manufacturing facilities.In addition to these efforts, I lead MTIDA’s involvement in the Wage and Benefit Survey, conducted in partnership with Middle Tennessee State University’s Business and Economic Research Center. This initiative provides essential insights into labor market dynamics and compensation structures, focusing on industries in rural areas. By managing MTIDA’s contributions to this project, I help deliver actionable data that supports HR professionals, informs local economic development strategies, and enables industries to remain competitive in a rapidly changing economic landscape.
