I moved to Sunny St George Utah in March of 1993.I thought I could sell a little real estate and play a LOT of golf. It turned out that I played a little golf and sold a LOT of real estate! My Mother had moved here a few years earlier so she was really the only person I knew.Unfortunately my Mother didn't want to buy anything so it was truly a ground floor opportunity.I jumped right in and figured this was no hill for a climber.Trying to get my marketing plan worked out in my head I did the only thing possible and headed to the golf course! I hooked up with a few fellows and headed to the first tee. Now St George has an elevation of just under 2900 ft above sea level and the temp was in the mid 80's so I had on shorts.Looking down the fairway of the first tee you see Pine Mountain(elevation 10,300 ft) and it was full of snow! So being from Texas I am a pretty quick study and thought Brigham Young must not have played this course or he would have said "THIS!, is the place!".I started to meet some great people and ended up at Remax First Realty where all the high flyers were doing a lot of business! I jumped on that fast moving train and started an unbelievable career.Through the years I was able to be the top individual Remax agent in the state with the most closed transactions in 2001,2003,2005 and second in 2004 and 2006. I was the top agent in the state in paid commissions for 2005 and 2007 and always in the top 10.Thank you Remax and thank you Mom!For 2016 I have throttled my jets and now work with Ikon Realty out of Ikon World Headquarters in St George Utah.It's still business as usual but at a lot slower pace but still just as Fun!!
