Development is exciting, especially when building tools and applications to solve problems from scratch. Designing solutions, writing algorithms – these allow for a sort of creativity and critical problem solving that is unique to our field.Often, I’ll go above and beyond to improve – not only the business, but myself – with every opportunity.Recent Achievements• Developed REST API's for package labeling/sortation lines installing in multiple sites, while collaborating with solutions and dev teams across multiple time zones. Deployments resulting in 500% operational increase in shipment labeling and destination sorting, and +100K labor cost savings /year.• Initiated and lead many site application improvement projects, for concepts like automated pallet building (leading to efficiency improvement of over 15%), and a labor management system tracking thousands of points of data across all operations processes.• Designed algorithm for determining sequential values based on pattern matching of specific scannable values in warehouse, initiated from mitigation requested during labeling and packout process of shipments where barcode scanning is required.
