ICC Sydney is located in the active precinct of Darling Harbour on Cockle Bay. As part of the facilities management team, I managed the engineering trade team, helped co-ordinate the help desk and engineering services on the site and provided interface between Spotless and the ICC events management team. I worked for 3 weeks on site acting in the role of Head of Engineering while the Graham Izod was away on annual leave.Other duties I fulfilled while on site were, damage and defect investigations, reporting and monitoring of engineering services performance, assisting with set-up of planned Preventative maintenance, life cycle, spares and inventory and operating the BMCS and air-conditioning systems. I provided management and guidance to the onsite trade team and the sub-contracted trades for the site.

Crone Partners have been the design and/or delivery Architects for major buildings within Sydney including; Centrepoint tower, Ernst & Young Centre, Kings Sqaure 2 and ATO Sydney, to name a few. As a Senior detail design draftsman at Endraft I was resposible for the management, design, co-ordination, project control and accounting, and deliverables of structural steel detailing and drawings on major projects. I liased with the client, architect and structural engineer on the co-ordination of the structural steel design. I managed teams of up to 8 people on the delivery of detail drawings for fabrication. I co-ordinated and managed all project scope changes and variations. As a junior draftsman at DBC&DS I learnt structure steel detailing, manual drafting, printing, processing and issueing documentation.I progressed steadily to the become the senoir detail design draftsman and drafting team leader within my 6 years at DBC&DS.
