I am passionate about helping my community and being able to make a positive change in society. I am invested in creating a better future for future generations and cultivating an environment in which they feel comfortable and protected. I would not be where I today without the help and guidance from those who knew me as a youth, struggling with my queer identity and housing situation. My background as a formerly homeless individual shapes the way I approach building community. The values I learned from that experience are ones I hold dear. I believe kindness is inherent to humanity and want to work in fields that allow me to implement those ideals. I am looking for a career that gives me the opportunity to better the communities I am in while being creative and explorative. As an extrovert, I thrive in roles that allow me to interact with individuals in my day to day operations. I have strong written and oral communication skills. My public speaking skills and oral communication skills come from my years working customer service at Del Taco while juggling my high school responsibilities, teaching a student run decal at Berkeley geared towards empowering queer students and youth, and many other client facing roles I have taken on. I have strengthened my written communication skills through my time as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. My written skills were also honed during my time as an Outreach Assistant for the Center for Environmental Health and due to my time as a Case Clerk at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP. I am a versatile worker who can work independently or in a team. I value an environment that pushes strong and healthy communication. I have worked in fast-paced environments since I entered the work force. I can meet a deadline and will not sacrifice the quality of the work I do. I always want to present the best version of myself and do all I can for my team. We are only as strong as the people around us and I want to be an individual others believe they can rely on to get the job done properly!
