While I also do real estate photography and am expanding into portraiture, I specialize in landscape photography because it is my "first love" in this field. I revisit many of my favorite places frequently and become very familiar with scenic locations and lighting conditions whereby I am able to take others to those same places at the right times and show them how to get their own great photos while enjoying the same places I enjoy. In addition to hand-held cameras, I also work with drones in order to get those "Viewpoints" I just can't otherwise get.As an artist, my photography is expressive of who I am and of what I appreciate and value in my life and in the world around me. I find beauty in the natural world and am drawn to things untouched or at least relatively unspoiled by man. My work ranges from seasonal landscapes, iconic landmarks, colorful close-ups and wildlife, to cityscapes, architecture, vehicles and experiential. My images are reflective of where I find interest and beauty, and of what I enjoy. The greatest value I get from my photography is the fact that it gets me out doing things. My desire to capture a particular image is often the impetus to get me out to new and interesting places and it typically leads me to exciting and sometimes precarious locations to achieve just the right angle and perspective. I hope that anyone with similar interests will find a little bit of themselves in my work.

Certified Basic, Advanced, & Military Tax Preparer and Site Coordinator. In 2017 I decided to use my financial planning skills and tax knowledge to assist the VITA program at my church. VITA is a program that assists lower income families save money on tax preparation services by having their returns prepared as accurately as possible and completely free of charge by IRS trained preparers. This saves them money on preparation services and helps them to get all deductions and credits to which they are entitled. It was a very rewarding experience and I am in the process of recertifying now for the 2018 tax year.
