About Ken Friedman

After beginning his career at a large, international law firm, Ken has continued his career as a C-suite executive, general counsel, and advisor to disruptive companies. Ken founded the first law firm legal technology practice group and serves on multiple advisory boards. Now offering his services through L&F Brown, Ken was most recently the General Counsel and Chief Industry Officer for Divorce.com and its portfolio of family law companies, where he played a leading role in building the foundation of the company as it remakes the family law landscape. He was previously the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at LegalZoom.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: LZ). Before joining LegalZoom, Ken practiced at global law firm Sidley Austin LLP.Ken was named one of California's 10 leading deputy general counsel by the Los Angeles Daily Journal. He is a member of the American Bar Association, where he is a Founding Member of the State Attorneys General and Department of Justice Issues Committee, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
