I work for Doro Corporation, a family-owned pavement company in the northernmost part of Japan, Hokkaido. I'm preparing to succeed the company. After graduating from Doshisha University, a private university in Kyoto, Japan, I firstly worked at a life insurance company. Tough but fulfilling sales work sharpened my business skills. I was soon promoted to a managerial position, and there I nurtured my leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.In 2011, I joined Do-ro Corporation, the company my grandfather founded and my father fortified into one of the top regional companies. I experience literally everything on-the-job, from going to the road-building site, doing paperwork, and chairing meetings, to managerial assignments such as planning future projects. The experiences in Do-ro equipped me with the essential skills as a business person and the standpoint of overviewing whatever the situation.Since June 2016, I studied business at MIT Sloan Fellows program.
