General Manager for a startup biodiesel manufacturer. Joined the company during the startup and commissioning phase of the manufacturing plant. Allon Project Management was my firm that I formed to provide capital project management support to companies that did not have the necessary resources to manage their own projects. Provided both plant engineering support and capital project management support to clients.

Overall management of the entire manufacturing facility including: plant engineering, maintenance, EH & S, ISO, quality control, and production. Responsible for lean manufacturing implementation initiative. Plant Quality Management Representative for the facility. Seven direct reports and 50 personnel total on site. Senior manager at the facility.

Hired as a Project Engineer originally and promoted within 6 months to Pigment Plant Production Manager. P & L responsibility for the department consisting of 42 union hourly personnel, 3 supervisors, and 2 technical support people. Assisted the plant staff in establishing and enforcing site policies in an existing union environment. Key member of business unit meetings to develop business plans and strategies for the sector.

P & L responsibility for the department consisting of 10 hourly personnel. Responsibility included all capital project planning and execution, maintenance budget adherence, spending tracking, maintenance supervision, and all plant engineering responsibilities. Hired and trained a chemical engineer to assume some of the maintenance and engineering responsibilities when I took over the AZO production department from 12/1997 – 3/1995 due to a reassignment of the AZO Production Manager.
