Ken Hastings leads PACCAR Investor Relations, Corporate Development, the PACCAR Foundation and corporate communications. In 2013 and 2014, he managed PACCAR's Winch Division.As head of Investor Relations, Ken represents PACCAR to ~20 equity research analysts and over 900 institutional investors. He manages the quarterly earnings press release and conference call process, and tells PACCAR's excellent story to investors at investor conferences, roadshows, site visits and teleconferences. Ken and his team lead PACCAR’s sustainability strategy and Environmental, Social and Governance reporting.As head of PACCAR Corporate Development, Ken advises PACCAR executives on mergers & acquisitions and strategy development. Ken has presented more than 40 times to PACCAR’s Board of Directors on economic and industry updates, strategy, M&A, competition and investor relations. Ken manages the PACCAR Foundation, the company’s charitable giving arm. The foundation donates globally to education, social services and arts nonprofits to enhance the communities where PACCAR employees live and work. The PACCAR Foundation has been recognized for many years as a top donor in Washington state.Prior to PACCAR, Ken was a senior leader in Microsoft’s Corporate Development group. In this role, he sourced, structured, valued and negotiated acquisitions, divestitures, investments and joint ventures in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. He completed more than 20 transactions with a total value over $3 billion. Ken was also the Controller for Microsoft Customer Service and Technical Support, a $1 billion business, in which he led a team of over 35 finance professionals, located across the US, Europe and Asia.In the 1990's, Ken led the worldwide tax function at Hewitt Associates and was an auditor and tax consultant for the firms of Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, during which time he was a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois. Ken earned an MBA with Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Masters in Taxation from DePaul University, and a BS in Accountancy with Honors from the University of Illinois.
