Hired CEO and positioned company for successful exit to largest player in the space.

Grew this University spinoff into a global player in the booming GPS chipset market. Built the team, set the product strategy and executed the go to market strategy. Successfully raised three rounds of venture funding in a difficult funding environment. Secured design wins at Samsung and won $5Million in volume orders after successfully launching the world's lowest power GPS chipset. Acquired by Qualcomm.

I founded iGo in 1993 in my garage in Silicon Valley. I built a strong team and then we grew the business on average 100% per year for 8 years culminating in a successful IPO on Nasdaq. We managed to survive the dotcom bust and successfully sold to Mobility Electronics (MOBE). Won contracts at IBM, NEC and Acer to design, develop and manufacture innovative power accessories for mobile devices.
