Senior manager in charge of all U.S. Army (Active Duty and Reserve components) recruiting operations in the West Denver Metro Area, managing 6 Recruiting Stations and 43 Soldiers covering 4,248 square miles.

Tasked with overseeing the training, safety, health, welfare, and discipline of 45 Soldiers and their families. I was responsible for the professional development, construction proficiency, and combat readiness of my assigned Soldiers. Additionally, I oversaw the maintenance, accountability, and overall readiness of 32 engineering machines, 41 transportation trucks and trailers, 8 engineering kits, and 24 pieces of communications equipment, all valued in excess of $11,000,000.

Graduating from the Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, I was assigned to the Current Operations section of the 92nd Engineer Battalion. While deployed, I was selected to be part of a small team to oversee Army construction efforts throughout Afghanistan. I was assigned the Northern and Eastern sectors which included the capital city of Kabul, as well as the largest military installation in the country, Bagram Air Base.
