After leaving my initial firm I formed Kenneth Himmler and Associates. The creation was due to a move from Buffalo NY to Bradenton Florida. I followed my clients into their retirement as they left the north for Florida's West Coast. My firm formalized the same processes and techniques that I learned from my initial firm. We grew into more of a tax planning firm and we were preparing over 150 business and personal tax returns each year along with 80% of revenues derived from creating tax reduction entity structures.

I had the luck to stumble into one of the first financial planning firms in the country. During my tenure, I had the advantage of tutoring under William C. Moore, whom I would consider one of the most intelligent financial minds in our century. This firm was one of the pioneers in combining tax, legal, investment management and risk and insurance management all under one roof. In the eight plus years of working in this firm, I prepared over 156 tax returns, prepared written financial plans and worked in the full management department with some of the countries wealthiest families. I worked mainly with professional athletes, celebrities, and high net worth business owners. I also was involved in a test pilot program where I worked in creating fast start business and financial plans for newly licensed physicians.

CFA was a company I created which was one of the first companies that would find, analyze, buy and then manage rental properties. This company was started after I personally bought 38 rental units with less than $20,000. In the process of buying the properties, I was also one of the first people to formalize the home inspection process. This process spun into another fee for service business which inspected other people's homes before purchase or sale. I built and operated the company while working full time as a financial planner.
