My name is Kenia Roman. I obtained my Master's Degree in Social Work from DePaul University in June of 2023. As a first-generation Mexican American, I have witnessed first-hand the lack of resources available to minority communities. It is for that reason that I am very passionate about providing help to lower-income communities. I have had experience with customer service since I was 10 years old due to being highly involved within my family’s business. Not only has this allowed me to improve my communication skills, but it has also allowed me to continuously speak to diverse communities and practice speaking in Spanish. Diversity has always been an important factor in my life which drives my passion of learning new ways/techniques in which I can help different communities.
