I am a sociologist from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and for a year I trained in the area of ​​sociology in education. In theoretical terms, I focused on the sociology of the curriculum and organizations. In practical terms, I have knowledge of policy studies and the functioning of public policies implemented in Mexico.I am currently studying a postgraduate degree in Government and Public Affairs at FLACSO-Mexico. During this period I have developed skills in mathematics applied to the study of social sciences and I have also strengthened my ability to analyze econometric models for the evaluation of the design, process and implementation of public policies. Additionally, I belong to a seminar on gender and intersectionalities in the Social Sciences. My colleagues and I focus on the study of economic, political and social inequality in order to develop research that contributes to improving the quality of life of women in Mexico and Latin America. I am working on the development of a master's thesis on the unequal access to positions of women engineering graduates with the intention of putting on the table the importance of generating actions within institutional policies that strengthen the link between the education sector and private sector. I am very interested in connecting with experts in the field and in starting my professional career as a public affairs consultant in the public and private sector.
