Since grade 10, I have been involved in leadership at St. Paul High School. In 2022 and 2023, I was chair of St Pauls’s student Committee. A major event was the Fall open house; In this role I resolved conflicts and kept the other students on task. I was able to foster a collaborative environment, empowering my fellow students to excel in their roles. I have also organized the semi-formal, contributed in activity days, and encouraged middle schoolers in the grade 8 shadow day to choose St. Paul as their highschool. My positive impact on my school has made me a more confident person and encouraged me to continue taking leadership opportunities and helping others.

In August of 2022, I volunteered as a camp instructor at the Clarkson Church. I supported specially-abled individuals, and by offering my time and compassion, I contributed to making a more inclusive and supportive community. I made icebreakers, games, and physically supported them, making sure they had someone they could talk to and confide in. This cultivated a deep sense of compassion from me, and helped me gain a better understanding of their challenges, which made me a more sympathetic person. I am so thankful to have gained great personal fulfillment and gratitude through this opportunity.
